Nintendo

For this assignment I chose a Nintendo controller. This symbols how I always love video games.  Then I notice that its part of my life.

In this assignment we had to outline an object using the pen tool in illustrator. Then we had to colour it after. At the start I decide to do a camera but then I notice that the camera was to difficult for me to do. So then I did the Nintendo controller because it was a lot easier. After that I had to colour it so I went with some easy colours. But I had to make them have contrast. So I made some colours darker then others. We had to make seven colored versions as well a black and white and a gray scale. The black and white was one of the easier ones because I just had to make the out line white and make the inside black.

Out of all of the out lines I think that this one is my favorite because its looks like the original. So I'm very happy how it turned out. This was my first time using illustrator and I thought that it was a pretty fun time.

Garden Photos Assignment

This photo of mine I really like. The mushroom just stands out a lot and the rule of the thirds works well with the mushroom. I like the background how it doesn't over power it. This photo has selective focus in the mushroom. How the mushroom is the only thing that's not burly. I think the last thing that this photo has is depth because it make it seems like the leaves that are behind the mushroom are a lot father then they actually are.

This picture is my favorite that I took. This one shows emphasis and a little bit of movement inside of the flower how the red part inside move to the middle. This flower makes me feel calm and that's why I took it.

I saw the metal parts of bike tires and I just had to take a photo of it. This photo creates movement through the top parts of the wheel it makes the tires less boring because it is leading of.

I don't know what appeals to me in this picture but it does. I like how it has movement how it starts at the bottom and moves to the top and how. Also it is dark in the middle but it's not to dark to make it black. I like how the background is not to over powering.
This photo reminds me of lily pads in the water.  I like how all them are all in one place and not scatted every where. I like how there is movement with all of the leaves moving into one spot.

"The Third Class Carriage" By: Honore Daumier

Honore Daumier :The Third Class Carriage

                                                        Cyber ARTS Class Year One

Last week we had to to remake a painting, it was "The Third Class Carriage". The one thing that was different about it was that we didn't know what we were drawing. We just saw a little picture and got told to draw what was there and not to draw what we saw. So we did  that but we had to used different shades of value and line in the image at the end we had to build the picture with all of these little pieces.

I thought that the drawing that we made was not so life like as much as I hoped it was going to be. If you look at it and notice all of the little finger prints in ours compared to the original how Honore Daumier took all of his time to make sure that there was no mistakes in his panting.

Now "unity" I think that our drawing does not have lot of unity because if you see that most of the lines do add up so that I think there is not that much movement. Our drawing had a big thing that I noticed, the shading do not match and that's why it's not in focus. On the other hand the painting that Honore Daumier did it clearly has unity. There is emphasis in places that he wanted to have emphasis and there is nice shading in the panting.

Now when I look at our drawing that we did I don't feel so upset compared to the painting. I feel sad for the people in the carriage how they are forced to go and sit in the back of the carriage while they're getting smoke in their lungs. I also feel like there are noble how they are sitting tall and strong and it looks like most of the passengers have a smile on there face.

At the end I thought that the project that we had to do was pretty fun. I have never done a shading class before and for my first time I think that we did a great job. Good job to all of us if any of you guys are look at this page.
